LANCE BARNARD

Lance is the founder and Managing Partner of LML Capital. He brings experience in finance and operations from large organizations, small established businesses, and start-ups.

In 2021, LML Capital acquired a long-term care pharmacy and healthcare distribution business in Colorado, which Lance is President and CEO of.

Prior to founding LML Capital, Lance worked across finance and operations roles, starting his career at Goldman Sachs covering the retail sector. Inspired by the boom in E-commerce at many of the companies he covered, Lance left Goldman Sachs to raise funds for, purchase and run an E-commerce business in the Health & Beauty space specializing in Amazon sales. As the sole operator, Lance was able to grow the business from $800k in revenue to over $1.2mm and increased margins by 50% by overhauling the supply chain; returning capital to investors in just over 2 years. Lance also worked at Samsung Electronics in the Mobile Division, responsible for developing and implementing a nationwide Trade In Program via Samsung.com as well as through National Retailers.

Lance is an MBA graduate from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and earned his B.B.A in Finance from Southern Methodist University where he was a Nancy Ann & Ray Hunt Scholar. An Eagle Scout, Lance enjoys spending time outdoors and is an avid backpacker and skier.
